Lysimachia nummularia is a hardy, very vigorous, ground-covering perennial, 5 cm high.
Called 'moneyweed' for its round green foliage, it spreads on long creeping stems,
forming a dense and evergreen ground cover. It is accompanied by a profusion of bright yellow star-shaped flowers providing a luminous carpet in the summer season.
