Equisetum arvense (mini-mound)

Equisetum arvense is a perennial that has two types of stems: fertile and sterile, which allows it to be differentiated from Marsh Horsetail.

In both cases, the leaves are reduced to simple collars located at the nodes of the stems and branches, in the form of a toothed sheath card.
