Cyperus alternifolius (mini-clod)

Cyperus alternifolius is a large perennial with an original silhouette formed of long, stiff stems topped with bracts gathered into an umbrella.

In spring, an inflorescence appears in the center of each crown, composed of very small pale yellow flowers, turning brown in summer when ripe.
