Alisma parviflora is a perennial plant forming a rosette-like turadon, with erect emergent vegetation reaching 40 to 70 cm in height.
The dark green foliage is deciduous. The flowers, with greenish-white, pinkish petals, are reminiscent of baby's breath flowers.
The plantain is found on banks and up to 50 cm deep in a sunny location.
