Acorus calamus (mini-clod)

Acorus calamus is a perennial used to consolidate bank edges and also appreciated for its filtering qualities.

Its deciduous foliage is dark green, broad, and pointed. Its rhizomes give off a citrus scent, hence its nickname, the fragrant rush.
